Initial Psychiatric Evaluation
- Establish care with Dr. Yates in a thorough Psychiatric evaluation
- 60 minute duration ensures a thorough evaluation, and non-rushed treatment recommendations.
- Diagnosis and treatment recommendations provided, unless additional visits or testing are warranted.
- Also appropriate for referrals to Dr. Yates from other health care providers for your psychiatric care (including psychotherapy, medication management, or both)
- Individuals, couples, and families are welcome.
Follow-up Visits
- Established patients of Dr. Yates.
- Individual psychotherapy (short term or long term), medication management, lab studies, and genetic testing for medication compatibility are available as needed.
- Follow-up appointment durations: 20 minutes, 50 minutes, 80 minutes.
- Feel free to discuss recommendations for appointment duration with Dr. Yates if you are unsure of your desired duration.
- Individuals, couples, and families are welcome.
Consultation
- Ideal for one-time visits, psychiatric second opinions, diagnostic clarification, and/or treatment recommendations for current patients of non-psychiatric providers.
- Also ideal for short-term private care of seasonal visitors to Tucson, such as visitors of college students or individuals wintering in Arizona.
- 60 minute one-time visit, with return visits optional (see follow-up visits section for further information).
- Routine or Urgent (non-emergency) visits only. If your safety is at imminent risk, please call 911 or report to an emergency room as quickly as possible.
